Hood Hinge Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the hood.
2. Using a grease pencil, mark the position of the hood hinge to the fender.




3. Remove the hinge to fender bolts.
4. Remove the hinge from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the hood hinge to the alignment marks on the fender.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the hood hinge to fender bolts.

Tighten the hood hinge bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

3. Install the hood.
4. Align the hood if necessary. Refer to Hood Adjustment.
