Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet.




3. Remove the air cleaner bolts.
4. Remove the air cleaner.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air cleaner.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the air cleaner bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Install the air cleaner outlet.
4. Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector.
