Transmission Mount Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Caution: Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned. To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support for the vehicle on the opposite end from which the components are being removed.

Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Support the transaxle with a suitable stand.





3. Remove the front transaxle mount through bolt nut (1).
4. Remove the front transaxle mount through bolt (2).





5. Remove the transaxle mount-to-transaxle attachment bolts (1).
6. Remove the transaxle mount (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the transaxle mount (2) to the vehicle.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the transaxle mount bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).





3. Install the transaxle mount through bolt (2).
4. Install the transaxle mount through bolt nut (1).

Tighten the nut to 90 Nm (66 lb ft).
5. Remove the transaxle stand.
6. Lower the vehicle.
