Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Sedan/Coupe)

SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR (SEDAN/COUPE)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the rear seat belt buckles.
3. Remove the rear seat belt retractor anchors.




4. Fold the rear seat backs to the floor.
5. Remove the rear seat back latch cables from the seat back latches.




6. Remove the rear upper seat back frame bolts.




7. Remove the forward seat frame bolt caps and bolts from the rear seat frame.
8. Remove the rear seat backs and frame from the vehicle.




9. Remove rear seat back bolsters.




10. Remove the rear seat back bolts.
11. Remove the rear seat backs from the rear seat back frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear seat backs to the rear seat back frame.
2. Install the rear seat back to seat back frame bolts.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Tighten the fasteners to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).




3. Install the rear seat back bolsters.




4. Install the seat back and frame to the vehicle.
5. Install the upper seat back frame bolts.

Tighten the fasteners to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).




6. Install the rear seat back latch cables to the seat back latches.




7. Install the lower seat back frame bolts and caps.

Tighten the fasteners to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).




8. Install the rear seat belt retractor anchors.
9. Install the rear seat belt buckles.
10. Install the rear seat cushion.
