Seat Replacement - Front Bucket

SEAT REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUCKET

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9.

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution.

2. Move the seat full forward.




3. Remove the seat belt anchor from the front seat assembly.




4. Remove the front seat mounting fasteners and tilt the seat forward.
5. Disconnect the electrical wire harness and remove the push-in fastener from beneath the seat.
6. Remove the seat.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the seat into the vehicle.




2. Connect the electrical wire harness and install the push-in fastener beneath the seat.
3. Install the front seat mounting fasteners.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the fasteners to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).




4. Install the seat belt anchor to the front seat assembly.

IMPORTANT: Verify that the shoulder belt is not twisted.

5. Enable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9.
