Piston Oil Nozzle Cleaning and Inspection





1. Caution: Refer to Cleaning Solvent Caution.

Clean the piston oil nozzle in cleaning solvent using GM P/N 10953463 (Canadian P/N 88901148) or equivalent.

2. Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.

Dry the nozzle with compressed air.
3. Inspect the piston oil nozzle for the following:
^ For cracks or damage
^ Plugged oil passages (1)
^ Bent, misaligned, or cracked oil nozzle tubes (2)
^ Bent or broken clip (3)
