Bracket Replacement - Rear Bumper

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear bumper impact bar. Refer to Impact Bar Replacement - Rear Bumper (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the 2 nuts (1) attaching each of the rear bumper impact bar brackets (2) to the vehicle.
3. Remove the rear bumper impact bar brackets (2) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the rear bumper impact bar brackets (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 2 nuts (1) to each rear bumper impact bar bracket (2).

Tighten the rear bumper impact bar nuts to 44 N.m (32 lb ft).

3. Install the rear bumper impact bar. Refer to Impact Bar Replacement - Rear Bumper (Service and Repair) .
