Striker Replacement - Door

Removal Procedure





1. Mark the position of the striker (3) with a grease pencil.
2. Remove the screws (1) from the door lock striker (2).
3. Remove the door lock striker (2) and the shims.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the door lock shims (3) and striker (2).
2. Install the striker screws (4).
3. Align the door lock striker to the alignment marks making sure the bridge of the striker locates centrally in the door lock assembly (1) as the door is being closed.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Tighten the door lock striker screws (4).

Tighten the striker screws to 13 N.m (10 lb ft).
