Fuel Filler Door Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Open the fuel filler door.
2. Remove the fuel filler cap and cover the opening with a rag, as required.
3. Remove the 3 screws (2) attaching the fuel filler door assembly (3).
4. Remove the fuel filler door (3) by withdrawing it rearward, ensuring the gasket (1) is also removed.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the fuel filler door (3) with the gasket (1) to the quarter panel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 3 screws (2) attaching the fuel filler door (3) to the quarter panel.

Tighten the 3 screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).





3. If a new fuel filler door was replaced, make sure to install a new label to the positions shown.
4. Close the fuel filler door.
