Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar

TRIM REPLACEMENT - HINGE PILLAR

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the front seat adjuster outer cover.
3. Remove the door sill plate.




4. Remove 2 hinge pillar trim panel retaining screws (1).
5. Disengage the hinge pillar trim panel retaining clip (2), by pulling the lower edge of the trim panel assembly rearward.
6. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the trim panel in the vehicle.
2. Engage the hinge pillar trim panel retaining clip (2).
3. Install 2 hinge pillar trim panel retaining screws (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the hinge pillar trim panel retaining screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

4. Install the front seat adjuster outer cover.
5. Install the door sill plate.
6. Position the seat as necessary.
7. Install the rear seat cushion
