Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
2. Remove the front seat adjuster outer cover. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement) .
3. Remove the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .




4. Remove 2 hinge pillar trim panel retaining screws (1).
5. Disengage the hinge pillar trim panel retaining clip (2), by pulling the lower edge of the trim panel assembly rearward.
6. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the trim panel in the vehicle.
2. Engage the hinge pillar trim panel retaining clip (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install 2 hinge pillar trim panel retaining screws (1).

Tighten the hinge pillar trim panel retaining screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

4. Install the front seat adjuster outer cover. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement) .
5. Install the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Position the seat as necessary.
7. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
