Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front door window defogger duct. Refer to Defogger Outlet Duct Replacement - Side Window, LH or Defogger Outlet Duct Replacement - Side Window, RH in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
2. Remove the inner panel outside rearview mirror insulator (3).
3. Remove the 3 screws (2) securing the mirror (1) to the door.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the outside rearview mirror (1).
5. Remove the outside rearview mirror (1) from the front door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the outside rearview mirror (1) to the front door.
2. Connect the electrical connector (4) to the outside rearview mirror (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the 3 outside rearview mirror screws (2).

Tighten the outside rearview mirror nuts to 3 N.m (26 lb in).

4. Install the inner panel outside rearview mirror insulator (3).
5. Install the front door window defogger duct. Refer to Defogger Outlet Duct Replacement - Side Window, LH or Defogger Outlet Duct Replacement - Side Window, RH in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
