Park Brake Shoe Inspection





1. Remove the park brake shoe (2). Refer to Park Brake Shoe Replacement.
2. Inspect the park brake shoe for the following conditions:
- Oil or fluid contamination
- Cracks
- Uneven wear
3. Measure the thickness of the park brake shoe lining. Specification The minimum park brake shoe lining thickness is 1.5 mm (0.059 inch).
4. If 1 park brake shoe requires replacement, replace both park brake shoes. Refer to Park Brake Shoe Replacement.
