The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
2. This step inspects the cruise control switch and associated circuits.
5. This step inspects the brake pedal switch assembly and associated circuits.
7. This step inspects the clutch pedal switch assembly and associated circuits.
9. This step inspects for a fault in the cruise switch ON/OFF circuit between the switch and the powertrain interface module (PIM).
10. This step inspects for a fault in the cruise switch RESUME/ACCEL circuit between the switch and the PIM.
11. This step inspects for a fault in the cruise switch SET/DECEL circuit between the switch and the PIM.
12. This step inspects for a fault in the stop lamp switch (switch C) circuit between the switch and the engine control module (ECM).
13. This step inspects for a fault in the stop lamp switch (switch A) circuit between the switch and the ECM.
14. This step inspects for a fault in the cruise control disengage clutch switch circuit between the switch and the ECM.
15. This step inspects for a fault in the engine start clutch switch circuit between the switch and the ECM.
16. This step inspects for intermittent faults in associated circuits and connectors.
