Glove Box Lamp: Service and Repair

INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT LAMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the instrument panel (I/P) compartment door.




2. Using a flat-bladed tool, remove the compartment lamp (5) and slide it out from the instrument panel.
3. Disconnect the harness connector (4) and remove the compartment lamp (5).
4. Remove the compartment lamp bulb (1) from the compartment lamp (5), if necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the compartment lamp bulb (1) to the compartment lamp (5), if removed.
2. Connect the harness connector (4) to the compartment lamp (5).
3. Install the compartment lamp (5) to the instrument panel, making sure the tabs are fully engaged.
4. Close the instrument panel compartment door.
