Seat Belt Replacement - Front

SEAT BELT REPLACEMENT - FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor bolt trim cover (3).
2. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor bolt (2) and seat belt spacer (4).
3. Remove the rear seat cushion.
4. Remove the door sill trim plate.
5. Remove the quarter panel trim panel.
6. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel.




7. Remove the front seat belt upper guide bolt (3).




8. Remove the intermediate seat belt guide screws (2) and the intermediate seat belt guide (1).




9. Remove the front seat belt retractor bolt (3) and the front seat belt retractor (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the front seat belt retractor (2) to the vehicle. Secure the retractor with the bolt (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the front seat belt retractor mounting bolt to 42.5 N.m (31 lb ft).




2. Install the intermediate seat belt guide (1) to the vehicle. Secure the guide with the screws (2).

Tighten the intermediate seat belt guide screws to 2.1 N.m (18.5 lb in).




3. Install the front seat belt upper guide (2) to the vehicle. Secure the guide with the bolt (3).

Tighten the front seat belt upper guide bolt to 42.5 N.m (31 lb ft).

4. Install the center pillar upper trim panel.
5. Install the quarter panel trim panel.
6. Install the door sill trim plate.
7. Install the rear seat cushion.




8. Install the front seat belt lower anchor bolt (2) and seat belt spacer (4).

Tighten the front seat belt lower anchor bolt to 42.5 N.m (31 lb ft).

9. Install the front seat belt lower anchor bolt trim cover (3).
