Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Lower the front frame in order to access the stabilizer shaft bracket nuts.





2. Remove the nuts (2) that retain the insulator bracket (3) to the front frame (1).
3. Remove the bracket from the insulator (4).
4. Remove the insulator from the stabilizer shaft (5).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the insulator (4) to the stabilizer shaft (5).Ensure the slot in the insulator faces forward.
2. Position the insulator on the front frame (1).Ensure the curved portion of the insulator seats in the curved mating surface on the front frame.
3. Install the bracket (3) to the insulator.

4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the nuts (2) in order to retain the bracket to the front frame.
Tighten the nuts to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the front frame.
