Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor (Removal and Replacement) .
2. Remove the compartment mat.
3. Remove the armrest and the hinge. Refer to Console Armrest Replacement - Front Floor (Removal and Replacement) .
4. Remove the accessory power receptacle from the console compartment. Refer to Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement - Floor Console.
5. Reposition the wiring harness.
6. Remove the rear cover screws.




7. Remove the rear cover.




8. Remove the compartment screws.




9. Remove the side trim panel screws.
10. Remove the side trim panels.




11. Remove the compartment screws.




12. Remove the compartment.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the compartment to the upper trim plate.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the compartment screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).





3. Align the side trim panels to the locators.
4. Install the side trim panel screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).





5. Install the compartment screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).





6. Align the rear cover to the floor console.




7. Install the rear cover screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

8. Install the wiring harness.
9. Install the accessory power receptacle to the console compartment. Refer to Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement - Floor Console.
10. Install the armrest and the hinge. Refer to Console Armrest Replacement - Front Floor (Removal and Replacement) .
11. Install the compartment mat.
12. Install the floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor (Removal and Replacement) .
