Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure





1. Open the front door.
2. Remove the carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the weatherstrip by pulling it off the pinch-weld flange.
4. Remove the weatherstrip from the door opening.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the door weatherstrip to the door opening.
2. Install the weatherstrip to the pinch-weld flange on the body.
3. Install the carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) in Interior Trim.
4. Inspect the door for proper operation.
5. Close the front door.
