Striker Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment

STRIKER REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.
2. Remove the I/P compartment door latch striker screws.
3. Remove the I/P compartment door latch striker.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the I/P compartment door latch striker and screws.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

2. Close the I/P compartment.
3. Inspect the I/P compartment door for the proper alignment. Adjust the I/P compartment door latch striker as necessary.
