Heater Hose - Inlet

HEATER HOSE REPLACEMENT - INLET

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38185 Spring Hose Clamp Pliers

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LS4 Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26, L32 Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) in Cooling System.




2. Using J 38185 release and reposition the heater inlet hose (1) clamp from the heater pipe.
3. Remove the heater inlet hose (1) from the heater pipe.

IMPORTANT: Cap or plug the cooling components to prevent system contamination.




4. Using J 38185 release and reposition the heater inlet hose (1) clamp from the heater core.
5. Remove the heater inlet hose (1) from the heater core.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect heater inlet hose (1) to the heater core.
2. Using J 38185 reposition the heater inlet hose clamp at the heater core.




3. Install the heater inlet hose (1) to the heater pipe.
4. Using J 38185 reposition the heater inlet hose (1) clamp at the heater pipe.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LS4 Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26, L32 Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) in Cooling System.
