A Symptoms - Roof



SYMPTOMS - SUNROOF/MOONROOF

Review the system operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to Sunroof Description and Operation.

Visual/Physical Inspection
- Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the sunroof system.
- Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.
- Inspect the SUN ROOF fuse 15 A for obvious damage or conditions which could affect the operation of the power sunroof system.
- Inspect the tracks for binding and proper lubrication.

Intermittent
Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions.

Refer to a symptom diagnostic procedure from the following list in order to diagnose the symptom:
- Power Sunroof Inoperative Power Sunroof Inoperative
- Power Sunroof Does Not Open Power Sunroof Does Not Open
- Power Sunroof Does Not Open to Vent Position Power Sunroof Does Not Open to Vent Position
- Retained Accessory Power (RAP) On After Timeout in Computer/Integrating Systems, if the power sunroof system should operate after the timeout, once the ignition is turned OFF. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
