Engine Front Cover and Oil Pump Installation





1. Install the engine front cover with a new gasket.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the long water pump bolt.
^ Tighten the water pump bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the engine front cover bolts.
^ Tighten the engine front cover bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





4. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.
5. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner bolt.
^ Tighten the bolt to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
