Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
Camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.)

Cylinder Head Bolt
^ First Pass 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
^ Final Pass 155 degrees
Cylinder Head Front Chaincase Bolt 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.)
Cylinder Head Oil Gallery Plug 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.)

Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator
^ First Pass 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
^ Final Pass 100 degrees





Tighten the new retaining nuts in sequence
Exhaust Manifold to Cylinder Head Nut 14 Nm (124 inch lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold to Cylinder Head Stud 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold Pipe Flange Stud 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)

Intake Camshaft Position Actuator
^ First Pass 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
^ Final Pass 100 degrees
Intake Camshaft Rear Cap Bolt 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)





Intake Manifold
Install the intake manifold bolts and nuts. Follow the tightening sequence.
Tighten the bolts and nuts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
Intake Manifold to Cylinder Head Stud 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.)

Oil Level Indicator Tube to Intake Manifold Bolt 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)

Cylinder Head Deck Surface Flatness - Transverse 0.030 mm (0.0012 inch)
Cylinder Head Deck Surface Flatness - Longitude 0.050 mm (0.002 inch)
Cylinder Head Deck Surface Flatness - Overall 0.08 mm (0.0031 inch)
