DTC B0685

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The body control module (BCM) controls the security indicator based on the status of the content theft deterrent (CTD) and vehicle theft deterrent (VTD) systems. When either VTD or CTD requests the lamp illuminated, the BCM grounds the security indicator control circuit. Battery voltage is applied to the security indicator at the instrument panel cluster (IPC) and when the BCM grounds the security indicator control circuit, the security indicator is illuminated.
