Door Replacement - Side Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the outer sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer (Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer) .
4. Remove the door weather-strip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the door window weather-strip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window (Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window) .
6. Remove the window guide channel. Refer toWindow Guide Replacement - Door (Window Guide Replacement - Door) .
7. Remove the door lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door (Lock Replacement - Rear Door) .
8. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Outside (Service and Repair) .
9. Remove the door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
10. Remove the door window regulator and motor. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
11. Remove the rear door speaker. Refer to Speaker Replacement - Rear Door in Entertainment.
12. Remove the rear door body side molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rear Door Body Side () in Exterior Trim.
13. Remove the rear lower door side molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rear Side Door Lower (Service and Repair) in Exterior Trim.




14. Remove the door check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair) .
15. Release the door wiring harness grommet and unroute the wiring harness (2) from the door (4), if equipped.
16. Remove all the retainers from the rear door (4).
17. Mark the door hinge location.
18. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 4 door to hinge bolts (1, 3)
* The rear door (4)




Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the rear door (4) to the vehicle. Align the matchmarks on the hinges in order to aid in the correct adjustment of the door. Secure the door to the hinges with the 4 bolts (1, 3).

Tighten the door to hinge bolts to 26 N.m (19 lb ft).

2. Install all the plastic retainers to the door (4).
3. Route the door wiring harness (2) and seat the grommet into position in the door.
4. Install the door check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the rear door body side molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rear Door Body Side () in Exterior Trim.
6. Install the rear door side lower molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rear Side Door Lower (Service and Repair) in Exterior Trim.
7. Install the door window regulator and motor. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
8. Install the rear door speaker. Refer to Speaker Replacement - Rear Door in Entertainment.
9. Install the door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
10. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Outside (Service and Repair) .
11. Install the door lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door (Lock Replacement - Rear Door) .
12. Install the window guide channel. Refer toWindow Guide Replacement - Door (Window Guide Replacement - Door) .
13. Install the door window weather-strip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window (Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window) .
14. Install the door weather-strip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
15. Install the outer sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer (Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer) .
16. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
17. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
