Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Opening

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front door sill plate trim panel.
2. Remove hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar (Removal and Replacement) .
3. Pull the front door opening weather-strip (2) loose from the door flange (1).
4. Remove the weather-strip (2) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Apply weather-strip adhesive GM P/N 12345096, or equivalent, to the front door opening weather-strip (2).
2. Press the weather-strip (2) onto the front door opening flange (1).
3. Install hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to. Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar (Removal and Replacement)
4. Install front door sill plate trim panel.
