47. Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Installation

Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Installation





1. Apply multipurpose grease GM P/N 1051344 (Canadian P/N 993037) or equivalent to the new crankshaft rear oil seal lip.

Important: Tap the oil seal in until its surface is flush with the crankshaft rear oil seal retainer edge.

2. Using a hammer, lightly tap the crankshaft rear oil seal into place.
