Front End Sensor Replacement - Right

INFLATABLE RESTRAINT FRONT END SENSOR REPLACEMENT - RIGHT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 1.
2. Remove the front end sensor - right electrical connector (3).
3. Remove the front end sensor - right fastener (2).
4. Remove the front end sensor (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the front end sensor (1).
2. Install the front end sensor - right fastener (2).

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the front end sensor - right electrical connector (3).
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 1.
