Door Check Link Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Front Door (Removal and Replacement) in Interior Trim.
2. Reposition the door seal trim.
3. Remove the bolts on the door and on the body.
4. Remove the door hold open link.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the door hold open link to the door and the body with the bolts.

* Tighten the door hold open link-to-body bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).
* Tighten the door hold open link-to-door bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).


2. Reposition the door seal trim.
3. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Front Door (Removal and Replacement) in Interior Trim.
