Transmission Mount Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the left front tire and wheel.
3. Remove the left splash shield. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement.
4. Support the powertrain using a suitable transmission stand.




5. Remove the left transmission mount (2) lower nuts (1).




6. Remove the transmission mount bracket to transmission bolts (1).
7. Use the transmission stand to raise the transmission enough to remove the transmission mount and bracket (2) from the vehicle.




8. Remove the transmission mount bracket to mount bolts (1).
9. Separate the transmission mount bracket (2) from the transmission mount (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission mount bracket (2) to the transmission mount (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the transmission mount bracket to mount bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).




3. Install the transmission mount and bracket (2) to the vehicle.
4. Install the transmission mount bracket to transmission bolts (1). Hand tighten only.
5. Use the transmission stand to lower the transmission mount bracket on to the transmission mount studs.
6. Remove the transmission stand.
7. Finish securing the transmission mount bracket to transmission bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).




8. Install the transmission mount to bracket nuts.

Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

9. Install the left splash shield.
10. Install the left front tire and wheel.
11. Lower the vehicle.
