Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) upper trim panel.
2. Remove the I/P outer trim covers.
3. Remove the I/P compartment.
4. Remove the knee bolster.
6. Remove the cluster.
7. Remove the I/P center trim panel.
8. Remove the HVAC control module.
9. Remove the radio.
10. Remove the ignition switch wire harness connectors.
11. Remove the park lock cable at the ignition switch.
12. Remove the accessory switch assembly.




13. Remove the I/P trim pad screws.




14. Remove the I/P pad.
15. Remove the ignition switch from the I/P pad.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the ignition switch from the I/P pad.




2. Install the I/P pad.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Tighten the I/P trim pad screws.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

4. Install the park lock cable at the ignition switch.
5. Install the ignition switch wire harness connectors.
6. Install the radio.
7. Install the HVAC control module.
8. Install the accessory switch assembly.
9. Install the I/P center trim panel.
10. Install the cluster.
11. Install the cluster trim bezel assembly.
12. Install the knee bolster.
14. Install the I/P outer trim covers.
15. Install the I/P upper trim panel.
