Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disable the side impact SIR system, if equipped. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the front carpet retainer.
3. Remove the lower rear lock pillar trim.
4. Remove the center pillar garnish molding by performing the following steps:
1. Beginning at the top, release the upper garnish molding clips by pulling away from the center pillar.
2. Pull up towards the roof to release the lower garnish molding clips.
3. Remove the garnish molding from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Beginning at the bottom, install the garnish molding.
2. Install the lower rear lock pillar trim.
3. Install the front carpet retainer.
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
