Condition

Some customers may comment that the headliner, seat belt or the front or rear floor is wet.

Cause

The sun roof rear drain hose(s) may have become disconnected from the sunroof module.

Correction

1. Partially lower the headliner and inspect the rear sunroof drains for proper routing.

Incorrect Routing

Correct Routing

Important
Do not kink the hose when rerouting. Disconnect the hose from the two retaining clamps and carefully reroute correctly.

2. If either of the rear drain hose have come loose or are routed incorrectly, reroute them correctly. The drain hose should be routed to the outside of the coat hook retainers. Install an extension hose (GMSPO Service Kit P/N 25930220 - kit includes one extension hose, order two kits per vehicle) onto the end of each green rubber coupling (located at the rear of the sun roof module, one per side - two total). Slide the rear drain hose into the other end of the new extension hose and secure the clamps to the drain hose.

3. Clamp the new extension hose by installing a tie strap around the green rubber couplings (both sides - rear).
