Input Shaft Assemble




1. Using a press tube (1), install the input shaft bearing assembly (107).




2. Using a press tube and press plate, install the 3rd and 5th gear (105). Press it on with the shoulder facing the transmission housing side.




3. Install the input shaft spacer (104).




4. Using a press tube (1) and press plate (2), install the 4th gear (103). Press it on with shoulder.




5. Using a press tube (1) and press plate (2), install the 6th gear (102). Press it on with shoulder.




6. Using a press tube (2), a press plate, and a differential bearing support (1), install the input shaft bearing assembly (101).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

7. Install the input shaft bearing bolt/screw (100).

Tighten the input shaft bearing bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
