Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the floor console.
2. Remove the ashtray insert.
3. Remove the cupholder liner.
4. Remove the wiring harness.
5. Remove the HUD switch, if equipped.
6. Remove the traction control switch.
7. Remove the accessory power receptacles.
8. Remove the armrest and the hinge.
9. Remove the rear cover screws.




10. Remove the rear cover.




11. Remove the compartment screws.




12. Remove the side trim panel screws.
13. Remove the side trim panels.




14. Remove the compartment screws.




15. Remove the upper trim plate.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the compartment to the upper trim plate.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the compartment screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




3. Align the side trim panels to the locators.
4. Install the side trim panel screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




5. Install the compartment screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




6. Align the rear cover to the floor console.




7. Install the rear cover screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

8. Install the armrest and the hinge.
9. Install the accessory power receptacles.
10. Install the traction control switch.
11. Install the HUD switch, if equipped.
12. Install the wiring harness.
13. Install the cupholder liner.
14. Install the ashtray insert.
15. Install the floor console.
