Front Side Door Replacement
Removal Procedure
Notice: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.
2. Open the door.
3. Remove the front door trim panel.
4. Remove the front door water deflector.
5. Remove the front door speaker.
6. Remove the outside mirror.
7. Remove the front door window belt inner sealing strip.
8. Remove the front door window belt outer sealing strip.
9. Remove the front door window weatherstrip.
10. Remove the front door frame applique.
11. Remove the window channel retainer.
12. Remove the front door window.
13. Remove the front door window regulator.
14. Remove the front door inside handle.
15. Remove the lock rod guide block.
16. Remove the front door outside door handle.
17. Remove the front door lock.
18. Remove the front door body side molding.
19. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
20. Remove the electrical harness from the door.
21. Remove the front door rubber conduit.
22. Remove the front door hinge bolts from the door side.
23. Support the front door.
24. Remove the door with the aid of an assistant.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the door with the aid of an assistant to the vehicle.
2. Install the front door hinge bolts.
3. Remove the front door support.
4. Install the front door rubber conduit.
5. Install the electrical harness to the door.
6. Install the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
7. Install the front door body side molding.
8. Install the front door lock.
9. Install the front door outside door handle.
10. Install the lock rod guide block.
11. Install the front door inside handle.
12. Install the front door window regulator.
13. Install the front door window.
14. Install the window channel retainer.
15. Install the front door frame applique.
16. Install the front door window weatherstrip.
17. Install the front door window outer belt sealing strip.
18. Install the front door window inner sealing strip.
19. Install the outside mirror.
20. Install the front door speaker.
21. Install the front door water deflector.
22. Install the front door trim panel.
23. Inspect the door for proper operation and alignment.
24. Remove the masking tape.
