Rear Side Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Remove the outer sealing strip.
4. Remove the door weather-strip.
5. Remove the door window weather-strip.
6. Remove the window guide channel.
7. Remove the door lock.
8. Remove the outside door handle.
9. Remove the door window.
10. Remove the door window regulator and motor.
11. Remove the rear door speaker.
12. Remove the rear door body side molding.
13. Remove the rear lower door side molding.




14. Remove the door check link.
15. Release the door wiring harness grommet and unroute the wiring harness (2) from the door (4), if equipped.
16. Remove all the retainers from the rear door (4).
17. Mark the door hinge location.
18. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 4 door to hinge bolts (1, 3)
* The rear door (4)

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the rear door (4) to the vehicle. Align the matchmarks on the hinges in order to aid in the correct adjustment of the door. Secure the door to the hinges with the 4 bolts (1, 3).

Tighten the door to hinge bolts to 26 N.m (19 lb ft).

2. Install all the plastic retainers to the door (4).
3. Route the door wiring harness (2) and seat the grommet into position in the door.
4. Install the door check link.
5. Install the rear door body side molding.
6. Install the rear door side lower molding.
7. Install the door window regulator and motor.
8. Install the rear door speaker.
9. Install the door window.
10. Install the outside door handle.
11. Install the door lock.
12. Install the window guide channel.
13. Install the door window weather-strip.
14. Install the door weather-strip.
15. Install the outer sealing strip.
16. Install the water deflector.
17. Install the door trim panel.
