Trunk / Liftgate Striker: Service and Repair

LIFTGATE LOCK STRIKER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the lift gate sill trim plate.
2. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
- The 2 bolts (2)
- The rear lift gate striker (1)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the lift gate striker (2) to the vehicle.

2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note.

Secure the striker with the 2 bolts (2).

Tighten the rear compartment lid lock striker bolts to 11.5 N.m (9 lb ft).

3. Install the lift gate sill trim plate.
