Front Fender Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure





Notice: When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.

1. Raise and support the hood.
2. Remove the right fender flare.
3. Remove the right wheelhouse panel (1).
4. Remove the front fascia.
5. Remove the right rocker molding.
6. Remove the right head lamp assembly.
7. Remove hood assist rod.
8. Remove right rear inner fender splash guard.




9. Remove the right front fender (1) to rocker panel bolt.




10. Remove the 2 right front fender to door jamb (3) bolts.




11. Remove the top 2 right front fender bolts (1).




12. Remove the 1 bolt (2) from the front of the right front fender.
13. Remove the right front fender (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the front fender (1) to the vehicle. Secure the fender with the 1 bolt (2).

Tighten the front fender bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).




2. Install the top 2 front fender (1) bolts.

Tighten the top front fender bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).




3. Install the 2 door jamb (3) to front fender bolts.

Tighten the door jamb to front fender bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).




4. Install the front fender (1) to rocker panel bolt.

Tighten the front fender to rocker panel bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

5. Install right fender rear inner splash guard.
6. Install hood assist rod.
7. Install right headlamp assembly.
8. Install the front bumper fascia.
9. Install the right rocker panel molding.
10. Install the right wheel house panel.
11. Install the right fender flare.
12. Close hood panel.
