Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

DOOR LOCK CYLINDER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front side door water deflector.
2. Remove the hole plug (2).
3. Remove the following components from the outside door handle (3):
- The torx screw
- The door lock cylinder (1)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note.




Install the door lock cylinder (1) to the outside door handle (3). Secure the lock cylinder with the torx screw.

Tighten the door lock cylinder bolt to 4.0 N.m (35 lb in).

2. Install the hole plug (2).
3. Install the front side door water deflector.
