Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the door.
2. Remove the bolt (3) that retains the front door check link (2) to the door jamb.




3. Remove the following components from the door (3):

* The front door weatherstrip (2)
* The plastic retainers (1)

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front door weatherstrip (2) to the door (3). Ensure that the plastic retainers (1) are completely engaged.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the bolt (3) that retains the front door check link (2) to the door jamb.

Tighten the bolt to 5.5 N.m (49 lb in).

3. Close the door.
