Drum Brake Hardware Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the drum (17).
2. Remove the hardware (8,15,18,19,22) with the shoes.

Installation Procedure




1. Apply Lubriplate(R) Lubricant, GM P/N 1050109, Canadian P/N 5264008, or the equivalent, to the metal contact points on the backing plate (1) and the adjuster strut (3).
2. Assemble the adjuster strut (2,3,4).




3. Install the hardware (8,15,18,19,22) with the shoes.
4. Install the drum (17).
