Heater Core Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module assembly from the vehicle.
2. Remove the temperature/mode lever from the module.




3. Remove the 12 bolts and heater core case.
4. Remove the heater core clamp retainer screw and heater core from the HVAC module assembly.

Installation Procedure

1.
Install the heater core to the HVAC module assembly and secure with the clamp screw.




2. Install the heater core case. Secure case with the 12 bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

3. Install the temperature/mode lever to the module.
4. Install the HVAC module assembly to the vehicle.
