Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the brake drum.




2. If the vehicle has ABS, disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor connector (3). Position the connector to the side.
3. Remove the 4 bolts (1, 2, 4, 5).
4. Remove the wheel bearing and hub assembly.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the wheel bearing and hub assembly and the 4 bolts (1, 2, 4, 5).

Tighten the bolts to 61 N.m (45.0 lb ft).

2. If the vehicle has ABS, connect the rear wheel speed sensor connector (3).
3. Install the brake drum.
4. If the vehicle has ABS, perform the vehicle system check. Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
