Front Side Door Locking Rod Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the inside handle rod (2) from the lock rod guide block.
4. Remove the front door lock. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement (Front Side Door Lock Replacement) .
5. Remove the inside locking rod (1) from the door lock.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the inside handle locking rod (1) to the door lock.
2. Install the front door lock. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement (Front Side Door Lock Replacement) .
3. Install the inside handle rod (2) to the lock rod guide block.
4. Inspect the door for proper operation.
5. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
