Rear Brake Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the wheel bearing/hub (3). Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (Rear Suspension) .

Important: The backing plate (2) is attached to the knuckle (1) through the wheel bearing hub bolts (4).


2. Remove the shield (2) from the knuckle (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the shield (2) to the knuckle (1).
2. Install the wheel bearing/hub (3). Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (Rear Suspension) .
