Battery Tray: Service and Repair

Battery Tray Replacement (L26 - 3.8L)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (L26 - 3.8L) (Service and Repair)Battery Replacement (LS4 - 5.3L) (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the battery tray bolts.
3. Remove the battery tray.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the battery tray.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the battery tray bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (L26 - 3.8L) (Service and Repair)Battery Replacement (LS4 - 5.3L) (Service and Repair) .
