Radio Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement HVAC - Manual.




3. Remove the radio screws.
4. Remove the radio.
5. Remove the radio wire harness connector.
6. Remove the antenna cable at the radio.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the antenna cable at the radio.
2. Install the radio wire harness connector.





Note: Verify that the locator pin on the back of the radio is firmly seated in the I/P structure extension.

3. Install the radio.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

4. Install the radio screws.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

5. Install the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement HVAC - Manual.
6. Install the I/P center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement.
7. Program the radio after replacement. Refer to Control Module References Programming and Relearning.
