Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Replacement (Sedan)

Removal Procedure




1. Disable the roof rail SIR system, if equipped. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Service and Repair.
2. Remove the lower lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan)Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Convertible) Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Convertible)Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe).
3. Remove the garnish trim fastener cover.
4. Remove the garnish trim fastener.




5. Starting at the bottom, remove the garnish trim by pulling straight out.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the garnish trim into the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the garnish trim fastener.

Tighten the fastener to 3 Nm (26 lb in).




3. Install the trim fastener cover.
4. Install the lower lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan)Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Convertible) Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Convertible)Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe).
5. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Service and Repair.
